L’Enfant aux Pieds Rouges sera un spectacle visuel, un conte initiatique contemporain qui naîtra de la rencontre entre des enfants, des habitants, des circassiens, danseurs, chorégraphes et créateurs sonores sur trois continents – Amérique du Nord, Afrique et Europe – qui apporteront chacun à ce travail leurs gestes, leurs sensibilités et leur imaginaire.
Convaincue que la joie peut être une forme de résistance, Florence en fait le cœur de cette œuvre, conçue comme une ode à l’émerveillement de l’enfance avec l’eau comme élément vital, précieux et chargé de symboles. Destiné à tous les publics dès 3 ans, ce spectacle visuel et sans texte sera présenté en pleine nature, et offrira aux spectateur·rices, au fil du récit, une expérience à la fois sensible et participative, favorisant un lien organique avec l’environnement et notre propre nature.

Trance and life!
PROVISIONAL TITLE
Florence Lavaud’s new performance aims to restore the connection between mankind and nature, using trance as a tool for transformation and unity. Through cultural complicity, she celebrates the diversity of bodies and identities, and strengthens social ties.
Dance, music and sound create a collective journey. Dancing, listening to the memory of the earth and reconnecting with the universe becomes a means of renewal and peace in the face of the world’s crises. Collective improvisation is at the core of the work, with a lively dialogue between movement, sound and music, where each person in the audience becomes an essential participant in the experience.
The project is inspired by the idea of the mirror. In Lewis Carroll’s novel Through the Looking Glass, it symbolises the distortion of reality and an altered state of consciousness, akin to a trance where reality becomes fluid.

This work will span three years of research and creation:
Year 1 (2025) : Sound space and dramaturgy
Working sessions will be devoted to research and immersion in a radically experimental creative process, where each element – body, sound, movement – interacts to create a sensory experience.
Year 2 (2026) : Audience Immersion and Intercultural Exchanges
Setting up open rehearsals to invite the public to participate in the creation.
Year 3 (2027) : Final Creation and Tour
The final show, the result of three years of research and meetings, will highlight human and natural biodiversity through a collective work.
